GENERAL INFORMATION

Ventilation ducts, designed and constructed according to the silo capacity and the characteristics of the product to be stored, are embedded into the concrete during the construction of the silo's reinforced concrete foundation. These ducts are covered with galvanized steel sheets featuring custom-bent perforations designed specifically for the characteristics of the product.

To ventilate products stored in silos of various diameters and capacities, OBİAL utilizes ALFAN brand radial and axial fans of differing capacities.

OBİAL ventilation roof vents ensure that dust and agricultural chemicals accumulating inside the silo are easily discharged to the outside. These vents feature an inclined design with wire screens on their front surfaces. Thanks to these screens, birds and other foreign objects are prevented from entering the silo, while the sloped structure prevents rain and snow from penetrating inside.

For situations requiring higher airflow discharge, OBİAL manufactures a ventilation fan with a 560 mm blade diameter. This fan is equipped with a wire screen on the air intake side and a shutter system on the air outlet side. The shutters are engineered to open when the fan is operating and close when it stops.

OBİAL also manufactures mobile tunnel ventilation ducts, formed and reinforced from corrugated galvanized steel sheet and designed to interlock with one another, to resolve ventilation challenges in horizontal grain storage facilities.
