Description
ALFAN manufactures type 560 (22"), 660 (26"), 760 (30"), and 1270 (50") ventilation fans to meet varying requirements.
In addition to complete fans, individual production of shutters and blades is also available upon request.
Fan shutter sets feature an easily detachable design, making internal fan cleaning effortless.
All ALFAN ventilation fan bodies are manufactured from galvanized sheet steel. For fan blades, three different material options are offered: aluminum, galvanized steel, and stainless steel. All blade types feature a special curvature designed to maximize strength and efficiency.
Aluminum Blades: Manufactured from a special aluminum alloy with a thickness of 2 mm.
Galvanized Sheet Steel Blades: Manufactured from galvanized sheet steel with a thickness of 1 mm.
Stainless Steel Blades: Manufactured upon request in two grades—304 and 430 grade stainless steel—with a thickness of 1 mm.
Fan Shutter Opening Systems
Three different opening systems are available:
Shutters open via centrifugal force, which is converted into mechanical force generated by the rotation of the blades.
Shutters are balanced with extra weights mounted on them. Centrifugal force generated by blade rotation opens the shutters, while the extra weights pull them closed when operation stops.
Shutters open and close via air pressure and suction. Fans equipped with this system are exceptionally practical. The detachable nature of the shutters facilitates internal fan cleaning.
Fan Operating System
ALFAN fans operate quietly thanks to their motor-belt-pulley system. The pulley is crafted from cast aluminum, and specially designed bearings are utilized to extend the operational lifespan of the fan.
The circular frame surrounding the fan is manufactured from galvanized sheet steel. The shutters open automatically while the fan is operating and close when it stops.
A specially designed protective wire guard is located at the rear of the fan. The fans are mounted onto the wall using screws located on the outer frame.
Belt Tensioning System
The belt of an axial fan operating on a motor-belt-pulley system can stretch over time. A tensioning system is essential to prevent performance loss and stop the belt from slipping off.
Achieving proper belt tension in axial fans using traditional methods can be difficult, requiring extra time and labor. However, thanks to the belt tensioning system developed by ALFAN, tensioning the fan belt takes only 10 to 15 seconds. Once the desired tension is achieved, it can be locked in place using the wing nut and bolt on the tensioning system.
The ALFAN belt tensioning system operates as follows:
The tensioning tool moves the nut located at the back of the fan in the axial direction, bringing the belt to its required tension.
